Attorney Profile

Gary O. Olson graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980, and from the University of Washington Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 1983.  He passed the bar exam in the summer of 1983 and became licensed to practice law in the state and federal court in the fall of 1983. 

 

Gary O. Olson practiced in the partnership of Hanis & Olson for approximately 20 years, becoming increasingly focused on the real estate area as the years passed by.  He has now gained a reputation and standing in the south King County legal community such that numerous other area lawyers regularly refer him for their complex real estate, construction, and title related matters.

 

Law Firm Philosophy

Gary O. Olson’s philosophy is to attempt to work with the other side of disputes to find common ground and a mutually agreeable resolution prior to proceeding with more expensive litigation.  This results in the great majority of cases being resolved at a less expense and with less emotional distress for his clients.  He has also successfully litigated numerous real estate and title disputes, including prevailing at the appellate level with regard to such disputes.
